Early-access privacy notice

This early-access list is operated by the Animalumeric Chess project. Contact the project operator at hello@animalumericchess.com for questions, access, corrections or deletion.

What we collect

Your email address, the time you joined, the version of the consent notice, your confirmation that you are an adult, and the referral channel and campaign when available. Please do not submit information about a child. The list is intended for adults aged 18 or older.

Why we collect it

With your consent, we keep your address to provide development updates and tell you when pre-orders open. Joining is free and is not a purchase. This site does not automatically send a confirmation email.

Storage and access

Registration details are stored in the website’s hosted database using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. They are accessible to the project operator and service providers needed to run the site. We do not publish or sell the list. Hosting providers may process technical request information to operate and secure the service.

Your choice

You can withdraw consent or request deletion at any time by emailing hello@animalumericchess.com from the address you registered. We retain registration details while the early-access list is used for the purposes described here, unless you request removal. We will review retention when the early-access phase ends.

Cookies and tracking

We use first-party measurement to count page views, browser sessions, engagement, form interactions and new registrations by day and referral channel. No advertising pixels or analytics cookies are used. A random session identifier is held in your browser tab and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not store your IP address, full referring URL or email in analytics events. Event receipts are removed after 30 days when new measurement requests arrive; aggregate daily counts are retained to assess the project. Registration records retain the channel and campaign, but not the session identifier. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can turn off browser measurement on this device (a preference is stored locally), or enable it again. New registrations still contribute to aggregate signup totals. Hosting providers may process technical data to provide the service.
